Review: The Hobit

Title: The Hobbit

Author: J.R.R.Tolkien

Pages: 388

Genre: Fantasy, Adventure, Action

Review:This book is about the adventures of Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo along with 13 dwarfs and a wizard who comes and goes and comes and goes again, go on a treasure quest. So most of this book is based on travelling. Out of 388 pages I think they are travelling in like, 270 pages (if not more). And to be honest, this book is boring at some parts. This single book has story enough for creating 3 movies. So this book is also has a lot of things going on at some parts. In short, this book is quite unbalanced. Before you read more than the first chapter, it’s important to make sure that you understand Tolkien language because without understanding, reading 388 pages is a waste. But this book is really worth a read.

My Recommendation: Borrow it from a library instead of buying it.
